I'm sorry for the lack of updates. Life is busy! This update is going to be dedicated to my God Parents, Ted and Theo Rastok.

Growing up in Ohio, we had a very close family that often got together every weekend. Along with the close family, we still have wonderful friends who are considered family. One wonderful family is the Rastok's.
From the day I was born till this day, I was given the priviledge to be named their Godson. If you are curious as to the "role" of a Godparent in terms of Catholicism, check here.

Ted and Theo are more than this. They are family and considered as close as any Aunt and Uncle. Even to this day I receive and email now and then asking how I am doing. I repond, but for some reason my emails are not going through. Thus, I am dedicating an update to Ted and Theo.

Some random memories: My parents use to enjoy weekly visits to the Rastok's to play Bridge or Cribbage. I think it was one of those two. I can remember spending a LOT of time at their house. They are always so kind, fun, and humble. My memories are cut into bits and pieces throughout many years.

Ted Rastok is a joker. My Godfather could make me laugh like nobody else. His dry sense of humor and his laugh could get a room laughing. Their are so many memories that pop up in my mind of laughing, that I can't relate one from the other anymore. I do remember one time Ted came Deer hunting with my father and his brothers (We use to do that quite a bit) and he brought some of "his wifes soup" that he claimed she suffered over to make for everyone. Well we all fell for this one, it ended up being Ted boiling a leather boot and calling it soup. My Father still laughs about that one. Ted could pull some of the funniest pranks of anyone that I know.

  • As I cruise down memory lane, I can always remember talking a lot and joking with Theo. She is very sweet and fun. She also liked to make me laugh. She, even to this day, brings up things that she knew tickled me.

Yes, I miss my Godparents very much. Ted and Theo Rastok, if you are reading this, try to say these 3 sentences as fast as you can. I have never forgotten, and neither have my kids :)

One smart feller, he felf smart.
Two smart fellers, they both felt smart.
Three smart fellers, they all felt smart.

Say those 3 lines as fast as you can, no thinking about it or pausing. I bet you will get a "fart" out of it.

In closing, never forget the ones who helped shape your life. Ted and Theo Rastok added much to my life and have left a mark that they should be proud. They should be very proud. They not only are the best Godparents a person could wish for, but also wonderful people. I love you both, and hope to see you sometime soon.

We had our first visit to Lynn and Russ Peterman's new home (My sister and brother-in-law). I must say that this is our first time as a family spending quality ALONE time with them. It was the most wonderful 4 days of vacation we can remember. We only wish we could have finished our vacation at Lynn's and then came home. Not only is it beautiful, it is peaceful and a setting for relaxing your mind and body. I thank them for their hospitality and companionship. I really enjoyed getting to talk to Russ one on one a bit. I hope to visit them as often they will have us. Lynn and Russ, thank you, we love you.

Hello everyone. It has been a busy, busy month. Today Lauren had her second appointment to get her feet "fixed". The Botox shots did not work, so now she is casted on both feet. You will find this process rather interesting. Here is a photo-gallery of how she was casted and what the poor girl will have to put up with! CLICK HERE for the photo gallary.

May is going fast, and soon we will be boiling in the heat of the summer. Not much going on at this time. Dan is recovering from his shoulder surgery. Lauren will be having her calf muscles weakened at the end of the month to see if we can solve her toe walking issue. Other than that, everyone seems to be doing A-OK.

We've had a very nice spring down here in SC. Unfortunately my entire family came down with the nasty flu. But, 2 weeks and we are all back to normal. Wife and kids are doing well. Anna my 5 year old got accepted to the school we wanted and so did Lauren. Next year will be interesting with both kids in school. Maybe Sheila can get some quality mental rest time :)

How about those gas prices. They are enough to make you want to own a moped! I think it is kind of strange how the prices exploded in the past year (election year). All I know is that people are hurting and it is NOT the big oil companies fault. Fault the enviromentalists who won't let us pump our own oil because a frog or bird might get hurt.

  • Work is going great. Talk about busy and variety! I've been doing projects from heavy networking/Sharepoint, to sales and marketing graphics for the marketing department. It seems that I've turned into a "jack of all trades" for the people I work with. I love it.

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and I will try to keep things up to date. Happy Mothers day to all!

Oh yeah, hey Russ, your lawfirm website is moving up the search engines nicely! Now The Peterman Law Firm comes up first for it's name, and the personal name of Russ Peterman pulls the www.petermanlawfirm.com site as the 4th! Keep the updates coming and you're visibility on the web will take care of itself. No need to pay for SEO or marketing on web. Constant updates and PROPERLY coded web pages will take care of everything :) I miss you and Lynn a lot. Lauren even misses ya'll.

It is with great sadness, more than you could imagine, that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Perrotti family for the loss of their youngest daughter, and my cousin, Lisa. I grew up with the Perrotti's as Aunt Mary Jane Perrotti is a former Ceremuga and one of the most loving, kind and caring woman I know. My Uncle Joe Perrotti is a man who has the pleasure of having 3 daughters under his wings that he can appreciate and love. I know, as a parent, that the thought of losing one of my children is simply devastating and unthinkable. With that thought, I think it is very important for the Perrotti family to remain in our prayers, and for them to realize that the support system with the Ceremuga family is immense. They didn't just lose a daughter, the Ceremuga Family lost one of our own. This digs deep. We must also realize that Lisa IS in heaven and we can now communicate with her with our prayers, our thoughts, and our love. We no longer need a phone. She will watch over the Perrotti family and her husband and children.

  • As we all grow older, these devastating losses become more of a possibility. We must remain strong for our family and our children. Remember when we lost Mark Ceremuga while he was in high school? Well this was devastating to our entire family, not just the immediate family. We hung in there through love, prayer and hope. We now live with the loving memory of a cousin, son, and great man. We honor him as we do Lisa.

Remember that we can overcome anything. It is not because God wants us to suffer, it is because we live in a world of chance. God is only here to serve to comfort us and let us know that there is a better place for us to look forward when it is our time. To Lisa and Doug, the whole world can read this and you will hopefully get a ton of Prayer mail :) We love you as if you have not left this earth, and you will NEVER be out of our thoughts and prayers. Life and Death are part of our being and we must accept that at any time, our own fate could be called for judgment. Hang strong, as it is with faith that healing and continuance of life is possible.

With Love and Sincerity, David Ceremuga

Another month has gone by and life keeps moving along. Some great news to pass along this month! My father, Paul Ceremuga has been inducted into the Mercer County Pennsylvania hall of fame. To be inducted, you must be an exceptional athlete and human being. Both of which fit my father. Not only was he a VERY exceptional athlete, he is a very caring individual who puts the needs of others above his own. He is very unselfish. My father has also been an exceptional Dad. Working hard from his early years to support a family of four and still working to this day. I am very proud of my dad. I just can't say enough. I will take a lot of pictures during the event and post a few after we return in January.

Wow, it has been a long time since any updates, for that I am sorry. Much has happened since April! First off we finally got a dog. her name is Lucky, because she was not treated well as a puppy and we took her over, thus lucky we got her. She is a wonderful short legged blonde haired mix of a dog, mostly Terrier. She is so cute and very sweet. She loves to snuggle up with us no matter where we are, especially when we go to bed at night. She is definably an inside dog.
  • It has been a very hot and dry summer, hottest on record with many days hitting near or over 100 degrees. Even today it is suppose to hit 100. As many of you who know, I do not like hot, so this is not my favorite time of the year. Bring on the COLD!

  • Sheila is doing great, busy with her work and getting Lauren ready for 5th grade. Thank God. Lauren is getting bored and ready to be with her friends! I don't think Lauren AND Sheila are ready to start getting up early in the morning as they both are sleep-a-holics come morning time. Given a day off, I also enjoy sleeping in. Unfortunately that is reserved for a only a few days a month.
  • We have been to see quite a few good movies this summer, our favorites have been Ratatouille, Harry Potter, Shrek 3. Of the 3 I would easily say Ratatouille is one of the most well thought out movies of the summer.Enough for now and I hope everyone gets a reprieve from the heat and BRING ON THE COLD!

I realise that it has been a long time since my last update. Well lets get things up to speed. Everyone in the family is doing great. Anna turned 4, I turned 41 (bleh) and a few other birthdays in the family.
  • We had a very warm winter so I couldn't do much snowmaking, therefor the Snowmaking portion of the website has gotten "cold" :).
  • There is not much to write about, since things have been going steady and thankfully uneventful. I hope everyone is doing great and has a wonderful Spring!
